Alkeymia, a company that deploys Green Hydrogen and derived molecules projects belonging to the Capital Energy group, is looking to hire a Chief Legal Officer. This position will have as its main mission to advise and support the company in legal matters, leading the relevant and necessary legal actions in defense of its interests, both locally and internationally.
Will provide advice and support in the following areas:

• Real estate

• Construction/EPC

• Financing

• Corporate/commercial law

• Partnerships and/or collaboration agreements

• Marketing

• Compliance

• Administrative

• M&A.

Responsibilities

Legal support in contract negotiation for land acquisition and leasing, agreements with potential clients, suppliers, partners, investors, financiers, etc.

Corporate management of the company's entities.

Support in the organization and corporate governance of the company.

Participation in Committees designated by the company.

Preparation of legal reports and documentation regarding various inquiries from the company's areas.

Representation of the company's legal entities before various bodies, carrying out necessary legal actions.

Supervising, negotiating, drafting, and reviewing various contracts for the company, whether they be labor, purchasing, sales, registrations, financing, insurance, confidentiality agreements, etc.

Managing and coordinating the activities of external legal advisors of the company.

Ensuring the company's compliance with current legal regulations in all management fields.

Participating, advising, and supporting the company in its international development.

Advising and assisting the company in pre-litigation processes and claims in competent jurisdictions.

Supporting the organization of tenders (RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc.).

Supporting the negotiation and closing of major agreements with industrial partners/clients.

Overseeing compliance processes and corporate policies within the company.

Leading the legal relationship with suppliers and partners.

Requirements

Higher education degree in law. MBA or any other degree in economic-financial and/or business field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the legal field in generalist legal positions.

Experience in participating in corporate financing operations and large industrial and/or infrastructure projects.

Demonstrable track record of closing financial and M&A operations.

Accustomed to negotiations with the financial sector and industrial clients.

Experience in team management.

Essential experience in the industrial sector.

International experience.

Any experience in the specific field of decarbonization will be highly valued.

General commercial knowledge, master's in business law Practice, Business Taxation, International Business Law.

Very advanced level of English both spoken and written.
