For our Controlling Hub EMEA, we are looking for a Senior Associate in Central Controlling


Our central controlling hub enables business steering and decision making in EMEA countries, by acting as financial advisor and key contact to countries' CFO / SBR and other local stakeholders, providing needed reports to ensure efficient cost steering for local enabling functions based on reliable data.

Coaching and training on controlling tools and reports are an essential part of the Central Controlling Hub activities.


You will be responsible for:


  • As a caretaker for one or more countries supporting local teams and global functional controlling.
  • Prepare highquality reporting information and analysis to the CFO, SBR, and country management for decision making.
  • Monitor financial performance with a focus on costs and resources, risks & opportunities, analyze and communicate the impact of new business demands.
  • Provide financial systems and content expertise, analysis and insights to the functional leaders.
  • Support of global and country projects (financial support for enterprisewise and crossfunctional projects within Enabling Functions).
  • Support and coordinate training to CFO / SBR / local functional heads regarding relevant products.
  • Manage and approve authorizations in systems and reporting tools for nondivisional users.
  • Support creation of quarterly EF cost reports (NPC, FTE) and special items handling process.
  • Support monitoring of controlling data quality, identification of existing inefficiencies, implementation of necessary adjustments and followup of issues to comply with global standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute with process improvements in Central Controlling areas and activities.
  • Understand and perform country integration and stakeholder management by developing and maintaining close contact and collaboration both MA/SSOinternally (Global functions Accounting, MA Regional Hub, LEFIM, COS, etc.) as well as with country and global stakeholders following a structured process.
  • Contribute to and further development of knowledge management by process improvements, keeping training paths and materials up to date.

We would expect from you:


  • University degree in Economics / completed Master of Business Administration or equivalent studies in economics / management.
  • At least 1 year experience in Controlling/Finance, preferably with focus on financial analysis, functional controlling, and operative planning.
  • Understanding of controlling standards and methodologies.
  • Affinity to use Data Analytics or other digital tools to provide insights to support better decision making (e.g., SAP BW, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with ability to identify and assess business issues and provide meaningful recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical proficiency and skills in Microsoft Office and BI tools.
  • Ability to work in digital environment and virtual teams.
  • Detailed oriented, well organized, ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Results and solution driven mindset, proactive and selfmotivated.
  • Ability to work with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Additional language skills would be an advantage, especially French, Italian, or German (SCB).
