Merlin Digital Partner is a tailor-made digital recruitment company for startups, scale-ups and corporates. We were born in
Tech Barcelona where we established one of our main offices.

We are currently looking for a
Head of Sales in Valencia. (B2B - pymes)
Our partner, a growing spanish start-up with 50 employees, needs to hire a
Head of Sales with experience in scale ups and team coordination

The role:


  • Define and monitor commercial key performance indicators
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, methodologies, and tools, leveraging data and analytics to inform decisionmaking and optimize performance
  • Be responsible for driving revenue growth from new business and achieving our ambitious sales targets in the Spanish market.
  • Implement an effective sales forecasting and reporting system that ensures accurate and timely insights into the sales pipeline
  • Build, manage, hire and mentor a jr and hunter sales team.

Must have

  • Be an exceptional sales leader with a hands on profile. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career.
  • A minimum of 3
    years of experience as a Head of B2B Sales in a startup scale up company
  • You've
    already managed a team (more than 20 people) : this means performance management, hiring, firing, coaching and training

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluent English, this is senior role so you'll be interacting in English sometimes.
  • International experience is a plus

  • Strong leadership and management skills, managing the team means setting the bar high on performance whilst ensuring people stay engaged
  • Datadriven and organized, you like things to run like an engine
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written): you are able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas
  • You're a selfstarter, autonomous & proactive: we're looking for someone who will go and get things done, not wait for instructions
