The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside a leading fund manager focused on renewable energy, energy transition and sustainable infrastructure with presence in Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland, UK, and Chile.


Headquartered in Spain and supported by members in each country where the company has a presence, the Energy Management team is one of the core business-units of the company.

Its responsibilities account for, among others, the portfolio hedging strategy definition and execution, commercial strategy and activity, global markets analysis, and the strategy determination for new ventures and business models.

As part of this strategy, they are looking to incorporate a
PPA Senior Consultant.


Responsibilities:


  • Support in defining the company's commercial strategy, including the sale of electricity, biomethane and other business models or services related to the energy transition.
  • Lead the commercial activity of the group. Origination of contacts and relationships with partners. Participation at trade fairs and power market events on behalf of the company.
  • Valuation of different hedging structures (fixed prices, options) for all the assets in the portfolio.
  • Supported by the investment team, contribute to structuring Project Finance transactions.
  • Lead the execution of commercial contracts, working with highly experienced multicultural project teams and experts for each of the products produced under the portfolio.
  • Participate and launch PPA processes across the different geographies to obtain optimal solutions for the portfolio.

Your Profile:


  • 3 to 7 years of experience in the energy markets
  • At least 2 years of experience in the valuation/negotiation of physical or financial hedges
  • High level of English.
  • Proactivity and involvement, capacity for effort and sacrifice. Hard work culture and team player.
  • Very high level of Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Other languages, especially German, Italian, or Polish (desirable)
  • Knowledge of portfolio management and risk assessment (desirable)
