We are looking for a
Logistics and Sourcing optimization projects (Career Development Program 2024)
based in Barcelona**.


The purpose of this position is to execute growth, optimization and digitalization projects on sourcing and distribution activities for Industrial Gases in Southern Europe.


About Our Career Development Program (CDP):

Our CDP is structured to launch your career through three different assignments; there is also the possibility of one assignment being abroad.


The rotational assignments are crafted to develop your technical and professional skills, accelerate your learning, test your creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, throughout your rotations and get a better understanding of your areas of interest, strengths, and career aspirations.

The objective is, after three assignments, for you to have gathered a broad knowledge of our organization and to further develop your career within Air Products on the long term.


As a Logistics and Sourcing optimization projects,
you will:

  • Work on projects related to the development of new sources/production plants to ensure product availability.
  • Work on optimizing the existing network by identifying optimization opportunities, analyzing the information, defining the solution, and implementing it.
  • Propose and execute ideas that promote digitalization of the team activities.
  • Create project plans, follow up on actions and lease with other departments to ensure the project success.
  • Identify opportunities, define the scope and present the business case for innovative solutions to support growth, efficiency, reduce costs and simplify processes.

You will have:

You are in your final year or graduated within last two (2) years from a university, with strong academic performance.

  • Industrial, mechanical or chemical engineer background or a business degree
  • Ability using Excel and Office.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and team player.
  • Selfaccountability: able to work with limited supervision.
  • Eager to learn and strategic thinker.
  • Interested in BI / AI tools.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other language will be a plus.

He/she will receive some basic finance training in order to understand business plans.

Training in the role will be given by the Assignment Supervisor and/or other members of the team.
