Working in partnership with our client airline, Ryanair, we are looking for a Safety Officer for our Headquarters located in Seville with a full-time permanent contract

THE ROLE
Azul Handling is currently recruiting for a Safety Officer for our Headquarters in Seville to join the Safety Department.
Reporting to the Operations Managers, as Safety Officer your duties will include:
- Ensuring compliance with the Safety System Manual (SSM) and updating the guide
- Updating all operational safety records
- Managing the report filing in the Ryanair Safety system followed by review and evaluation of the reports
- Operational Safety Mailbox Management
- Be responsible for annual internal audits of Operational Safety with Ryanair (Dublin)
- Coordinating the Operational Safety Officer ("RSO") based in each airport
- Creating and supervising the training material for the Operational Safety Officer in each airport Giving support and adviceto all airports on the compliance of internal Operational Safety procedures
- Responsible for Risk Assessments, in terms of Operational Safety
- Creating and maintaining the PVSO ("Plan de Vigilancia Operacional")
- Providing support and coordination in audit processes with official organisations (AESA
- Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea)
- Coordinating with other key departments (Human Resources, Quality, Health & Safety)
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar ground handling company required (a minimum of 3 years' ramp experience)
- Detailed knowledge of operations and safety environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent Spanish and English required
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to travel, sometimes at short notice
- Valid driver's license (B)
- Flexible to support unexpected situations in our operations (sometimes weekends and holidays)
