**The Centre of Excellence for Sustainability and Energy coordinate the innovation transversal programme and support the business units' initiatives in the field of sustainability (carbon, water, circular economy, design for less, new sustainable materials ) and energy (renewable and low carbon generation, transmission, energy efficiency, electrification ) across Ferrovial.


Functions:


As Innovation Project Manager you will:

  • Support the execution of the innovation plan roadmap, in coordination with Ferrovial BU and Innovation Departments.
  • Coordinate and manage sustainability and energy projects, experimentation/prototypes/proofs of concept using agile methodologies (Minimum Viable Product planning, Scrum cycles, etc.) with clear milestones/deliverables and decision gates (with the right governance).
  • Leading the RFI/RFP processes of innovation projects: definition of specifications and prioritization of evaluation criteria, supplier analysis, selection and awarding of projects.
  • Understand and assess key innovative technologies and trends across the climate tech and energy landscape (renewables, transmission, smart distribution, energy efficiency, storage, H2 and green molecules, carbon capture, circular economy, sustainable designs and materials), leveraging in the Ferrovial innovation ecosystem, in collaboration with Open Innovation Area.
  • Manage communication with the different stakeholders for the adequate monitoring of results and business information.
  • Management of R&D projects with public incentives, in cooperation with other companies, public research organizations or innovation agencies, according to official calls. Management of public funding grants and technicaleconomic justification.

Requirements:
Education, knowledge, skills, work experience


  • University degree: Master of Engineering (valuable Energy / Industrial) or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering, business development or innovation related to cleantech (renewables and low carbon, green infrastructure, new energy models)
  • Solid cleantech background and new technologies passionate
  • Game changer: accepting change, identifying and overcoming obstacles and getting things done.
  • Passionate about the energy transition and technology optimist.
  • Excellent communication and dialogue skills
  • Very high level / bilingual in English
