Profile**:


  • Professional with 35 years of experience in this area with knowledge about all aspects of presales, developing solutions for clients and supporting the sales lifecycle.

Required Technical skills:


  • Expertlevel knowledge: Microsoft Azure in particular Data & AI elements (including Power BI and rest of Azure services) + Azure Databricks.
  • Experience of selecting the appropriate Azure data service based on client use case, data, security and technical requirements.
  • Strong demonstrable experience of designing and deploying scalable, universally available and resilient solutions on Azure Data&AI Databricks.
  • Ability to identify, evangelise and demo appropriate Azure Data-AI/Databricks components and to innovate with preview features and functionality.

Required Business Skills:


  • Previous experience of acting as solutions lead, presales consultant or solutions architect and proven skills in scoping services, effort estimation, planning projects and work packages.
  • Experience in driving adoption of disruptive technologies, cloud and digitally enabled purposeled propositions.
  • Experience in mapping business requirements to solutions and services.
  • Ability to work within a matrix organisation of senior stakeholders and executive teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Experience in structuring and producing compelling sales proposals alongside commercial and technical documentation outlining the business benefits to clients.
  • Creative approach to partnerships, marketing, business development and sales.
  • Ability to develop our positioning within Microsoft.
  • Valuable the experience of developing a community of talented engineers and architects, leading the development of the capability, capacity, certifications and specialisations of the practice
