As
Project Manager Start Up your principal responsibility is to oversee and manage the start-up through maintenance phase of domestic and/or international clinical trials.

This includes project managing defined study start-up and maintenance activities within timelines, scope, quality and budget, ensuring our client's expectations are met

We have a number of exciting opportunities in EMEA:

  • Start-up PMs looking for a role supporting the development of a new portfolio
  • Startup PMs with Medical Device experience
  • Startup PMs with experience coordinating large scale studies >250 sites


In this global role you will lead the start-up team during study start-up phase liaising directly with the Senior SUPM, core team members and the client.

This includes acting as the clients main POC for all activities relating to start up such as project schedule, budget and scope.

A proactive nature is essential as you will need to engage in both quality assurance and risk management activities to ensure project deliverables are met and initiate improvements to enhance the efficiency and the quality of the start-up work performed on assigned projects


Finance/budget experience is essential as you will need to interpret billing guidelines for the functional area/region and schedule training for start-up team accordingly, identifying risk of over-spend and tracking project progress against financial milestones using applicable financial systems.


This role will also give you the opportunity to present at both external and internal meetings including: project core team and client meetings, Chapter Meetings and Kick Off Meetings.


This is a Client Facing job: we will trust you to serve as a key client contact, establishing working relationships which result in client satisfaction, operational excellence and thereby increase potential for repeat business.

Education/ Experience Required:


  • University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health
- profession (i.e. nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited
- institution.

  • Similar demonstrated drug development and clinical research experience (pharmaceutical,
- biotech or CRO), with significant experience of leading clinical trials in Study Start-up


Preferred:


  • Masters or other advanced degree.
  • PMP certification
