Mission and responsibilities:

The main tasks of this position will be the following:

  • Daily analysis of the control model results.
  • Analysis and certification of new requirements regarding Accounting Architecture.
  • Implementation of new controls for new functionalities/products/processes, etc.
  • Design and validate new control tools linked to the accounting control (queries, reports, dashboards, etc.).
  • Define and implement new procedures, together with local BBOO and corporate units, in order to execute and report the results of the control model.
  • Guarantee the accounting control during migration and coexistences between our current and future Cores.
  • Ensure control model execution and its efficiency once in production.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • At least 2 years' working experience in banking sector, preferable in Operations or IT areas in relations with Accounting Architecture.
  • Proven experience in SQL, ACCESS, ACL, R, or any other database software.
  • Experience creating accounting controls within the banking sector and knowledge of regulatory reporting and accounting in banks.
  • It would be appreciated a consultant experience or being involved in IT transformation and accounting migrations projects.
  • It would be an asset to know: T24, JIRA, Confluence, Partenón, Microstrategy, Clarity or other reconciliations tools.
  • Team spirit, great organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, used to work in dynamic environments and tight deadlines, with multitasking skills, great adaptation skills and interest in learning and gaining new abilities.
  • Motivated by and interested in innovation and technology advances in banking sector.
  • Advanced English and Spanish. International working experience would be an asset.
  • Bachelor's Degree related with Engineering, Business Administration or related.
