About the Role:
The
Associate Director of Business Transformation & Engagement is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading a best-in-class and multi-year business transformation program and engagement strategy for the PS&PV organization.
This role promotes and ensures excellence in business transformation, communications, change management and stakeholder engagement within PS&PV while supporting related capability building initiatives.
In this capacity, the AD Director Business Transformation & Engagement is also in charge of the effective end-to-end strategic communication for the department with a key focus on executive communications for the Head of PS&PV.
Your key responsibilities, but not limited to;
- Lead the endtoend development and implementation an impactful, crossfunctional business transformation program (incl. appropriate quality control and KPIs) to equip PS&PV for future success in close collaboration with the PS&PV Leadership Team, functional partners and change champions
- Take a leadership role and driving excellence in change management, business transformation and stakeholder engagement within PS&PV by providing indepth expertise and consulting for key projects and high priority initiatives with global impact
- Build and cultivating the global crossfunctional change champions network, including 1on1 coaching to build key capabilities required for the successful delivery of transformation initiatives and thereby fostering the smooth execution of our business strategy
- Lead and driving largescale business improvement initiatives across PS&PV globally, targeting a lean and highly productive organization through a rigorous approach of prioritization, value creation and simplification
- Work within the organization at all levels utilizing a very "handson" approach for creating value and buyin as a lead change driver while representing PS&PV in relevant forums and networks to ensure an aligned approach on the adoption of high priority initiatives
- Develop and leading a cohesive and effective culture transformation and employee engagement strategy for PS&PV to accelerate the Novartis culture at all levels as well as representing PS&PV in the GDD Culture Council
- Build a culture catalyst network, which will help us to drive our GDD culture focus areas across PS&PV and allow a strong bottomup approach leveraging ideas and best practices from across our function
- Build capabilities in the PS&PV community through education and by offering guidance and coaching; help associates develop their communication skills and cultural awareness
Desirable skills:
- Extensive work experience (>8 years) in the fields of business transformation and strategic communications with a strong focus on organizational strategy
- Strong ability to question, rethink and innovate established processes and organizational frameworks
- Capable of working under pressure and providing high quality deliverables according to tight deadlines
- Solid track record in leading diverse teams in global projects and highimpact initiatives to superior results in a matrix organization
Educational Background:
Master's in business administration or in a related field
(e.g. organizational strategy, communications, etc)
Languages:
Excellent English language skills, with at least a good working knowledge of German.
