We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the products and product area for the In-Store Checkout Experiences across IKEA stores globally.

We expect you to play an important part in understanding customer and business needs in this area while ensuring that our products support how customers collect and return their items from stores for a better life at home.

The Physical Meeting Points domain covers the wide range of experiences and platforms to support the customer shopping journey in IKEA stores as well as the digital products our coworkers use during their visit.

It spans across all channels and everything from customer-facing channels down to operational platforms that keep our company running.

  • You will have more than 3years' experience in product management
  • You have extensive knowledge of product discovery techniques and delivering successful and innovative consumer experiences
  • You are datadriven and lean on quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to guide your decisions on product direction
  • Ideally you have a good understanding of retail and a curiousness about where the future of digital retail is headed
  • You are driven, but with a collaborative mindset. "You don't win unless your team wins"
  • You are highly organized, with strong communication skills, and like to work in complex environments.
  • You can shift fluidly from strategic planning with peers and leaders to handson working directly with the development team
  • You are a change agent helping us build a customercentric worldclass product development culture
  • Ideally you have worked with complex digital products and supporting services in retail
  • Ideally you have a background in retail payments or checkout

You will take a key role in leading the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions that solve customer needs and contribute to our business goals within the in store checkout space.

Key activities will be leading the understanding and validation of desirability, viability, and feasibility of solutions towards creating the product vision for In Store Checkout and driving development teams to deliver the solutions globally.

You will have close collaboration partners within the PMP Digital Product Team including UX, Engineering, and Data within Madrid and several other teams across the world.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for In Store Checkout products within Physical Meeting Points ensuring that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives
  • Own and actively manage the digital product backlog and prioritize items based on customer needs and business goals
  • Contribute to prioritization of the overall roadmap of instore digital touchpoints
  • Partner closely with UX, data, and engineering teams from discovery to delivery
  • Providing insight, context, and additional information as needed to help the team to understand what is required in the discovery and delivery processes
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and ensure alignment between crossfunctional teams and across domains
This role reports to the Product Manager for the Customer Experience Subdomain within PMP.

This role is based in our digital hub in Madrid, Spain
