Overview:
IE IMPACT is a transversal academic program, totaling 21 ECTS, required of all IEU undergraduate students.

Consisting of courses in the Humanities, Technology and Entrepreneurship, IE IMPACT reinforces these three foundational pillars of IE University, and centers Diversity and Sustainability throughout the entire learning journey, which culminates with the IE Challenge.


Responsibilities:


Key Action Areas:

The most relevant roles, responsibilities and tasks of the Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates the academic operations of the four IE Impact courses (Humanities, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and IE Challenge).
  • Provides the Academic Directors, Associate Director, and Executive Director with the necessary support.
  • Manages and develops expertise in Atenea, IE's internal student management software, including the inputting and management of complex enrollment processes.
  • Proactively manages the relationship with other university departments: Bachelors' degree programs, Planning Department, Registrar's Office, IT, Publishing, IT Innovation, Marketing, Communications, Counseling, Faculty, etc.
  • Provides faculty with the necessary support regarding onboarding and payments, and informs faculty about schedules, students lists, deadlines for grading, and general procedures to run their courses on Blackboard Ultra.
  • Coordinates faculty meetings in conjunction with the three IE Impact Academic Directors and the IE Impact Executive Director.
  • Proactively manages the relationship with students before and during the program; assists them in the selfenrollment phases, provides them with relevant information, solves problems, meets with class delegates, answers questions and refers them to the Directors (Academic, Associate or Executive) when appropriate, and follows up with their individual bachelor programs.
  • Keeps track of the students' status (dispensas, gap years, dropouts, special accommodations, resitters, retakers, etc.) and manages the information accordingly.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as coding invoices, uploading expenses, and processing special payments and reimbursements in Dynamics 365; booking trips through CYTRIC or managing advances.
  • Coordinates IE Impact interns.

Qualifications:

Requirements:


  • Bachelor ́s Degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (native level English, professional working level in Spanish).
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • International profile with experience and comfort in working in multicultural environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office & proficiency in power point presentations and database complication.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Empathy.
  • Teamwork.
  • Lifelong learner, and lifelong learner mindset.
  • Availability to host and/or attend occasional evening events.
  • Ability to travel to make occasional day trips to IEU's Segovia campus.

Preferred

  • Familiarity and skills in Canva for the design of presentations, workbooks, media assets, etc.
  • Interest in communications and marketing.
