What you'll do & Who you are

  • Work with the product team on building a strong shared technological and domain expertise to provide value to Adevinta's marketplaces.
  • Manage a squad of engineers to design, build and run part of our moderation product.
  • Empower and mentor team members to grow, improve their craft and deliver highquality products.
  • Help enforce and continuously improve our engineering practices, processes and tools.
  • Foster a feedback culture enabling a psychologically safe environment.
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • Good written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A problem solver mindset, being curious and adaptable.
  • Solid tech foundations (Software Engineering, Ops / Site Reliability, Cloud / Distributed Systems)
  • Experience growing, managing teams and individuals
  • Good foundations on Agile methodologies.
  • Experience and a strong interest in modern development tools and practices.
  • Technical and business level English is a must
