JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled early stage researcher to work on The Immunopathology research group is within the Immunology Service of the Germans Trias Hospital.

It is made up of an experienced interdisciplinary team that is highly motivated to carry out translational research and give support to clinical teams who are developing their own research projects to examine the mechanisms of the immune response.

This project aims to generate a more powerful second generation engineered VitD3tolDC product for its translation to the clinic.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE:


  • Passion for research
  • Strong background in bioinformatics
  • Research Planning and Organization skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Additional skills will be also considered such as:

  • Experience in cellular and molecular immunology.
  • Motivation for learning and continuous improvement of skills and scientific growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


Collaborate on a project entitled:
"Infecció post-vacunal per SARS-CoV-2: Estudi de cohorts per la caracterització de la resposta immune i desenvolupament d'un model de predicció per establir criteris de revacunació a Catalunya (BreakCOVID)", funded by the PERIS SLT 21 / 000038


This project aims to create a prediction tool to identify those individuals >18 years old most vulnerable to the COVID-19 requiring revaccination to prevent serious illness thanks to data of COVID-19 cohorts and electronic health records.
