Position:

Bid Manager
Description:The Bid Manager will be part of the Bid Management and Solutioning team and will coordinate the end to end bid process when responding to RFP or tenders timely and according to the bid plan, leading the presales process in terms of deliverables, bid reviews and internal approvals.

As Bid Manager you will be driving the pre-sales process managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award.

This position will be part of pre-sales team and will work very closely with sales, project, and managed services teams.

Scope of responsibilities:


  • The Bid Manager is accountable for planning, managing and ensuring delivery of all activities required to successfully pursue a sales opportunity. This includes ensuring the provision of all Client facing deliverables to the required quality and pursuing the opportunity in accordance with the appropriate governance and signoff rules.
  • Understand the opportunities in terms of customer requirements, timing, costs, risks, features, competition and any other area impacting bid content and strategy.
  • Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders
  • The Bid Manager is responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentations and must ensure best in class quality to deliver winning proposals and successful deliver all tender documentation.
  • Generate P&L and financials which maximizes the chance to win the bid developing sound pricing while optimizing costs to maximise contribution margin
  • Good understanding of Terms and Conditions working closely with risk manager, finance and legal teams in order to identify risks and mitigation plans
  • Drive Deal Reviews as per internal process, according to the proposal timeframe. Present deliverables to management for informed bid decisions
  • Understanding of the company offering and high sensitivity to competitive issues to ensure consistency of the commercial proposals & customer requirements
  • Address all issues encountered during the bid process with the relevant stakeholders.

Specific knowledge / skills Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in IT industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Presales bid experience with commercial focus
  • Team player with strong communication and commercial skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Very fluent in English
