The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education.
ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.
Research is organized in the following main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and reproductive Health, Urban Health and Child and environmental health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases.
ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.Lugar:

What We Are Looking for:
This position will be supported by funding from the "Centro de Excelencia Severo Ochoa " Program (CEX S) from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, and the Spanish Research State Agency.
Field research:
- Biological sciences
- Environmental science
- Medical sciences
Key Responsibilities:
- To organise the Hub's coordination committee & periodic meetings.
- To coordinate internal seminars
- To define and coordinate internal focus themes/working groups to build close interproject research synergies. E.g. external exposome, internal exposome, statistics and bioinformatics.
- To develop a communication plan and branding (with ISG communication team) to promote visibility.
- To develop short training courses related to the exposome.
Specific Duties:

Training and experience /Qualifications:
- Training in biomedical sciences
- PhD in Biomedical sciences, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related disciplines.
- Experience in exposome research
