Perform synthesis of polymers, preparation of membranes.

Synthesis of catalysts that increase the efficiency of hydrogen generation.
Chemical and electrochemical characterisation of new materials.
Collaborations with experimental researchers from the CIIAE and other centres.
Provide recommendations to decisionmakers based on the results.
Write 1 article per year as first author or coauthor in highranking journals.
Good time management with respect to tasks.

As a challenge for this position: To achieve a complete understanding of the electrochemical properties of new materials designed in order to improve the efficiency of electrolysers.

Requisitos

Master's degree in some of the following disciplines: materials science, electrochemistry, organic or inorganic chemistry, chemical engineering or related disciplines.
First apprenticeship or work experience in polymer synthesis or catalytic synthesis materials.
Experimental laboratory knowledge, e.g. design of an experimental protocol.
Knowledge of electrolysis, hydrogen generation and powertoX.
Excellent level of English, oral and written.
Commitment to open science in terms of research methods, data and publications.
Ability to work in a diverse and flexible academic environment in a teamoriented but independent manner.
Strong interest in new energies and selfmotivation.
High level of frustration tolerance.
