An opportunity for a Structural Dynamics and Aeroealasticity Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space
, Getafe (Madrid ).


Job will be mainly focussed on supporting the aircraft design as part of the engineering team responsible of Dynamic Loads (Gust/Turbulence, Dynamic Landing, Taxiing, etc.), Static and Dynamic Aeroelasticity, and Impact Loads (bird, ice, etc.).

All these aspects are covered by calculations and/or ground/flight tests.

Besides this, the job will also consider other aspects as:

  • Contribute to the optimization of the global design of Airbus products during the concept phases.
  • Supply high quality input data to the teams responsible for component design in Time Cost Quality (TCQ).
  • Development of leading competences in the areas of Loads & Aeroelastic along with the required methods and tools.
  • Support product certification and the evolution of requirements in that area.
  • Promote continuous process improvements.

SKILLS

  • Aeronautical Master Degree is required
  • Experience or interest in Aeroelasticity
  • Experience in programming and coding
  • Advanced level in English.
