Mission:


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Conduct innovative research in AI and machine learning, with a specific focus on developing novel methodologies and algorithms to solve challenging problems in R&D.
  • Design, implement, and optimize AI models, algorithms, and workflows to extract insights from diverse biomedical data sources, including genomics, proteomics, clinical data, literature and knowledge graphs.
  • Develop proofofconcept prototypes and conduct rigorous validation experiments to assess the performance and utility of AI models and algorithms.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including data scientists, bioinformaticians, medicinal chemists, biologists and clinicians to define research objectives, develop AIdriven solutions, and drive projects forward.
  • Document research findings, methodologies, and experimental results in technical reports and peerreviewed scientific publications.

Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and experience with popular AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing.
  • A few years of experience in the R&D area of a pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a passion for tackling complex scientific challenges and driving innovation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with researchers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as data dashboards and translating the results to actionable project decisions.
