Do you have experience in purchasing management in the industrial sector and a high level of English? We are looking for you

  • Main Accountabilities:
  • Perform Procurement activities and strategies for the category of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and Equipment at Spanish level and participates in category project teams as required
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate with suppliers and contract MRO and Equipment related products and services, both for capex procurement projects and opex spend.
  • Lead implementation of Procurement best practices and processes according to procurement policies
  • Accountable for category performance at Spanish level, initiates and drive cost saving actions, tenders, etc.
  • Set up and execution of subcategory strategies and implement Regional (European) frame agreements
  • Main point of contact for country stakeholders in terms of category management and work.
  • Single point of contact (SPOC) for Cartagena plant stakeholders and BBS support team, in order to ensure the correct coverage of plant requirements and local urgencies.
  • Participate and support transactional improvements and standardization projects
  • Take care of PO creation and management in line with Procurement Policy and its follow up and support the invoice discrepancy management with Account Payable Team, BBS and Stakeholders
    Requisitos
Essential level C1 English.

  • Experience of at least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Native Spanish and Advanced level of English
  • Master the use of pivot tables in Excel, highly valuable a good expertise in SAP and SRM systems.
  • Able to collect, report, analyze and control cost data in a timely and accurate manner to support decision making
  • Proactive
  • Able to understand and enforce company and local procurement policies.
  • Able to understand and enforce company and local safety regulations and procedures.
  • Analytical mindset, problem solving, planning and organization skills
  • Capable to work autonomously
  • Resultsoriented, able to make decisions and influence others.
  • Team player and customer oriented.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in an international group is recommended
  • Occasional travels between Spanish sites (Barcelona or Bilbao
