About the team


The Digital Sales Development team guides and influences customers to take informed decisions in the early stages of their digital transformation journey by creating a world-class engagement experience.

This team is responsible for building and nurturing pipeline of sales opportunities and incremental revenue aligned with the Sales and Marketing teams, focusing on prospecting into the SAP install base and net new name accounts, while nurturing leads into qualified opportunities within their assigned space.

This team drives digital and high-quality engagement with potential customers delivering superior customer experience.


What you'll do:


Position title:
SAP iXp Intern - Digital Sales Development

Location:
Barcelona, Spain

Expected start date: 1st March 2024
Expected duration: 6 months up to 1 year


In this role, you'll:

The purpose of this Internship is to extend SAP's market coverage in the dedicated segment by supporting new pipeline generation through:

  • Support the team in accelerating pipeline and increasing conversion by executing programmatic recycled (discontinued / disqualified leads) and reconstituted nurturing (aged pipeline)
  • Understand how to nurture leads received from other demand generation functions and progressing stalled pipeline. For targeted outbound campaigns, leads will be qualified according to the applicable methodology, and handed over to Sales using standard global process.

Campaign Execution & Lead Management:

  • Support and cooperate with Field Marketing, Solution Specialists, Account Executives
  • Align with Sales colleagues for most effective territory planning and execution, covering all routes to market
  • Pass qualified leads to Sales resource for opportunity management and execution
  • Regularly review lead pipeline and progression. Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to Marketing on campaigns using standard procedures and reports

Training & Enablement:

  • Assist in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills
  • Be active part of either classroom, elearning, virtual classroom, or mentorlead activities
  • Complete all enablement requested in a timely manner

Who you are:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Current University student in Spain or abroad willing to move to Barcelona for duration of the internship.
  • Study fields: Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Data/ Process Management, IT/Digital Transformation etc.
  • Languages: proficiency in English, Spanish or other languages is a plus
  • You bring preferably Digital (Remote) Experience, specifically in high volume of customer facing experience, phonecentric work
