We're looking for an outstanding Manager, Sales Iberia to join our Packs Sales team in Barcelona, Spain. This position will work with the brands Kipling, Eastpak and JanSport.

Let's talk about the role


You will be responsible to spearhead execution against long term and seasonal key customer plans with Packs Iberia National Account, Strategic Accounts & independent accounts.


You will cascade our Brand Strategic choices (OGSTM) through Strategic account and field sales 1-3-year planning, supporting the holistic omnichannel logic to make the brand a key player in the area.


Job Details - Primary accountabilities:

  • Accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets and key business and profitability goals across all the territory
  • Ensure implementation of sales and marketing tactics, specifically all seasonal sales strategies and GTM approach for all categories
  • Prepare, agree and submit seasonal product forecasts for all accounts
  • Responsibility for development of business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls
  • Lead, motivate and develop Sales Team including annual objective settings and performance plans
  • Build strong working partnerships with Agents / Distributors / Teams
  • Close communication with all internal departments (head office, marketing, retail department, finance, operations etc.) on a frequent basis
  • Creates, maintains, and shares order book analysis, brand sell thru, margin and turn performance along with competitive set analysis. Collaboratively work to ensure optimal execution for the brand.
  • Recommend changes when needed to improve efficiency and commercial leadership.
  • Suggest ways to further evolve sales tools, sample sets coordination, and tools (ecatalogue, B2B, reporting ).
  • Utilize deep insights into business and consumer to sustain and grow business while proactively addressing issues and opportunities and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Ensure market and data analysis of respective accounts are done to support pricing strategy and quantify opportunities.
  • Monitor together with Credit Department financial stability and payment discipline of accounts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and influence where needed to make sure that monthly landing is maximized.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties upon request.
  • Networking: Externally: establish and maintain top level contact with the management of existing and potential customers/ partners. / Internally (EMEA): be a source of solution and inspiration to empower collaborative workstreams with peers and managers across other functions and channels.
Skills for Success

Passion for the brand(s) and the category it represents.

  • 6+ years relevant and progressive experience in Sales management or Key Account management
  • Fluent in English, any additional foreign languages would be considered as a plus.
  • Proactive and Leading by Example approach.
  • Market and consumer strong knowhow
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
