The Group:
The High-Performance Power (HPP) group, as part of the Industrial and Multi-Markets (IMM) Business Unit, focuses primarily on the development of best-in-class Monolithic Synchronous Buck Regulators in terms of their high efficiency, low input quiescent current, low EMI, high switching frequency and high output current density.

The Position:
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical silicon device evaluation, characterization, and debug.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify device function and parametric problems.
- Develop evaluation methodology and measurement plans.
- Design hardware and software solutions to support new product design evaluation.
- Work with Design and Test engineers on validating and correlating design bench reference data to ATE data.
- Document evaluation results according to Design Evaluation documentation requirements.
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering. MS Degree is an advantage.
- At least 4 years working experience in a semiconductor test and measurement engineering environment. Should have extensive experience in creating and debugging own bench test hardware and software.
- Solid background in electronics, Analog, and Digital circuit analysis.
- Knowledge of Power Electronics is a plus (PMIC, LDO, Buck, Boost, etc.).
- Handson Experience using lab equipment such as multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, SMU, Electronic Loads, Network Analyzers, etc.
- Experience Automating lab bench is a plus. Automating bench setups consisting of lab instruments using: Python, PyVisa, SCPI, LabVIEW
- Proficiency in Highlevel programming language: Python is preferred; familiarity with LabView or C/C++ is acceptable.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, PMBus etc.
- Experience in Hardware development for new products; PCB schematic entry and layout, preferably using Cadence Tools.
- Interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are required.
- Some limited travel should be expected.
