Fully qualified lawyer in Spain with outstanding legal qualification.

  • Significant postqualification experience, ideally with some part of that supporting electronic devices, digital media, consumer products, ecommerce or retail businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a business partner to our business teams;
  • Outstanding legal and business judgment; Strong strategic organizational and project management skills, drafting, negotiation, analytical, management and leadership skills;
  • Excellent English language skills that include the ability to draft and negotiate contracts


The role will support our rapidly growing and evolving Books (including Kindle e-books) and Devices and Services (Alexa, Echo devices, Fire TV devices, Appstore, e-readers, Tablets, Ring/Blink, Smart Home, Photos) businesses in Spain.

Key job responsibilities

You will serve as a lawyer responsible for counseling the business on a broad range of on a broad range of Spanish and wider EU commercial and regulatory matters and for structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.

You will provide day-to-day advice in a wide range of legal areas, including digital media, consumer products, marketing, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.

About the team

Based in our Madrid office, you will be part of the Spain legal team, and work with a broader international EMEA legal team that supports that supports the Books and Devices and Services businesses in Spain and EMEA.

We closely cooperate with legal colleagues in the US and other parts of the world.
