Within the Vilvoorde engineering and production site of HTS we are looking for an Electrical Engineer.

***: This position will be responsible and the main point of contact for the electrical and PLC programming aspects of our projects involving gas burner systems and other thermal solutions, from sales proposal stage to the final commissioning stage. The electrical engineer will be part of an international electrical team reporting to the Leader of the Electrical Engineering Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Detailed electrical engineering of our thermal solutions. Assuring proper functionality in our burner systems,
Review customer specifications to develop the right technical solution,
Perform safety analyses and make sure our system is designed according to the applicable regulations (Machine directive, EN 7462, NFPA 86, EN60204,),
Designing the electrical control panels with aid of Electrical CAD software,
Programming PLC software,
Define and order the required system's material on time,
Collaborate with manufacturing and external suppliers and solve electrical issues that arise during manufacturing,
FAT assistance & onsite commissioning support.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering focused on electrical, controls or Electromechanical disciplines, preferably low voltage, control panel design and PLC automation is required, A Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
Strong technical affinity is a must.
Must be proactive, results oriented, growth and customer focused.
Experience with CAD is required, preferably Eplan or Autocad Electrical.
Knowledge & experience in programming software on Siemens & Rockwell Automation platforms is preferred.
Proficiency in electrical engineering of industrial machinery is preferred.
Experience with ERP system like SAP is an asset.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is required (minimum C1). Knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, German or French is a plus.

Travel requirement up to 10% withing W. Europe.
