The goal is to support Direct Line in optimizing, improving, and troubleshooting the Informatica Data Governance suite tools: AXON, Enterprise Data Catalog (hereinafter EDC) and Informatica Data Quality (hereinafter IDQ).

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.

You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities
Within the LDA technology stack are 3 tools from the Informatica suite: AXON, EDC and IDQ.

The duties to be performed are as follows:

EDC:

PWC:
Identification of lineage loss cases in

EDC:
Review of execution logs identifying the different cases of lineage loss. They will be typified and block-printed with the necessary corrections.

Identify the modifications to be made in PWC development methodologies to avoid lineage loss and make documentation of good practices identifying the cases for subsequent modification in PWC.
Generate the solution for lineage loss in file ingestion: Propose the loading and parameterization in power center so as not to lose lineage or create a custom resource and map the files with the corresponding processes/tables.
SAS:
Automate the ingestion of sas scanners (by reading logs and leaving the automated ingestion process ready) to update the metadata in EDC and modify the development methodologies.
Identification of lineage loss cases in

EDC:
Review of execution logs identifying the different lineage loss cases. They will be typified and block-boxed with the necessary corrections.

JCL/COBOL:
Automate the ingestion of the cobol, jcl scanners (by reading the programs as well as leaving the automated ingestion process ready) to update the metadata in EDC. Generate the script that correctly maps the database schemas with the tables for the correct mapping of the db2 database objects with the cobol table objects.
COGNOS:
Review of Cognos ingestion also identifying lineage losses and improvements in development methodology.

AXON:

Help to define the lifecycle flow of the different concepts:
Methodology to be followed in both the inclusion and maintenance of glossaries.
Help to define and build the approval and change flows.
Collaborate in the construction of the different domains and subdomains of terms in the hierarchy of LDA concepts.
Support training and dissemination to steward and owner users of the terms.
Manage the permissions/access layer to the physical model of the database from AXON by segmentation.
Definition of the use of APIs for the promotion between the Development and Production environment of the changes that the model undergoes.
Assistance in the onboarding of the datasets as well as the ingestion for the lineage of the assets.

IDQ:

Implement 5 Data Quality quality rules in Axon for 3 business terms: Validity, Accuracy, completeness, Consistency and timelessness and be able to see their reflection in a Dashboard.
Agree with the BI team on the methodology to be used in the Data Quality quality rules.

On the other hand, within the multiple projects of the company, work is currently being done on the definition of the glossaries of the different LDA Datamarts.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Big Data, Data Analytics, Statistics, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field to data
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
Good communication skills

Ideally, you'll also have
