Design & Construction Project Manager within
Inclusive Collections, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating hotel constructions & renovations within EMEA region. As well as the complete project lifecycle for both brand new and pre-existing assets across all the phases. Looking after external teams of sub consultants to make sure projects are produced on time to a high specification. Responsible for overseeing the creation of new projects or renovations.

The PM works with a variety of different teams, including designers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure that each project meets its goals in a timely fashion.

The preparation and monitoring of PIP, programs, timing and quality of construction and/or renovation projects with a view to achieving an optimum long-term investment (balance between costs and potential rental income) the organization and follow-up from the Operator side of technical works for new acquisitions and renovations within the exploitation strategy and context, set out by the direction and other internal teams.


A successful Design & Construction Project Manager will:

  • Plan, budget, coordinate and control of the project, the purchase, the final fit out of the works following the corporate administrative procedures
  • Retrieval and analysis of basic documents concerning a proposed project (plans, measurements, acts, permits, soil conditions, urban development regulations, tender specifications, acceptances, control reports, etc.)
  • Examine conformity of the project.
  • Technical visits of new opportunities.
  • Analyze the economic feasibility of the Real Estate assets acquisitions based in the Company design standards and hotel operational needs
  • Audits and technical due diligence
  • Draw up and update project planning with respect of budget, timing and scope.
  • Onsite supervision of construction up to start of operations (including further improvements and updates if needed).
  • Quality control of construction projects by third parties (developers/owners)
  • Follow up technical problems under the construction guarantee (in consultation with the property manager concerned)
  • Provide technical advice concerning maintenance and operational difficulties and cost.
  • Provide advice concerning restructuring and renovation potential and risks.
  • Internal reporting concerning risks and precautions with regard to planned investment and schedule;
  • Budgetary monitoring at all stages of the project (feasibility, preliminary design, design orders, contingency accounting, etc.) with support of the consultancy firms concerned.
  • Collect and examine the asbuilt files and post intervention files
  • Organize the final acceptance
  • Reviewing and advising on designs, ensuring they meet regulatory and legislative requirements and the company standards
  • Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement

A successful Design & Construction Project Manager will have:

  • Architecture, Construction Engineering, or similar PMP
  • 7 years of experience in construction management
  • 10 years of experience in design coordination
  • 7 years of Experience in the hospitality sector.
  • High communication, leadership and team management skills
  • Office package, MS project, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Detailed knowledge of the languages ENG and ES oral and written, FR, NL or any other language is a plus
  • Office automation knowledge

MS OFFICE:
Word / Excel

  • Assertiveness, control of emotions, planning and organization
  • Respect of others, respect of procedures.
  • Availability to travel
  • Architecturespecific software: AutoCAD.
  • High Experience in programmed structure
  • Broad knowledge of civil engineering
  • Broad knowledge of fit out works
  • General knowledge of specialized techniques (HVAC/electricity/lifts/sanitary installations).
  • General knowledge of specific legislation related to the function of the building project
  • Experience in drawing up planning.
  • Good grasp of building standards
  • Relevant experience in price calculation of building works
  • Experience in drawing up study and building contracts.
  • Knowledge of ageing and maintenance problems of buildings.
