Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence Architect

This is what you will do:

Position Summary:

The Business Intelligence Architect will consult with business intelligence(BI) developers and stakeholders across organization to implement standard frameworks and best practices that support performant BI products.

The individual in this role must bring a strong combination of Business, Architecture, and Technology acumen and be able to provide solutions that balance the unique needs of both the business and technology

You will be responsible for:

Implementing standard framework for self service analytics and governance across the enterprise
Championing reporting and data governance to promote reusable data products and minimize redundancy
Leading design reviews for BI solutions and provide technical leadership for the BI lifecycle
Engaging with analytics development teams to make technical recommendations for highly performant and scalable BI solutions
Designing and developing data models that form the foundation for accurate and timely reporting across the enterprise.
Assisting in building roadmaps for enterprise reporting and BI capabilities
Assisting in BI capabilities proof of concepts and product implementation

You will need to have:

Demonstrated experience developing analytics architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Broad understanding of enterprise BI architectures including software, hardware, data models, tools, support models, business processes, and security.
Significant expertise in migrating between BI platforms, from on prem to cloud, and/or from legacy reporting to modern analytics
Experience implementing best practices for integrating BI solutions with data lakes, data warehouses other data stores
Proven track record of translating business requirements into endtoend BI solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, or related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience

We would prefer for you to have:

8-10 years experience in a lead BI development or architecture role
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, or related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrable expertise in one or more on premise or cloudnative BI/Analytics stack including QlikSense and PowerBI
810 years handson experience with integrating BI platforms with public cloud and distributed computing systems including AWS and Snowflake
35 years experience consulting for BI architectures and solutioning in biopharma industry
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations stakeholders at all levels
Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, or related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
