A vacancy for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) within the Procurement Operations organization has arisen. The open position is based in
Getafe.
The jobholder will be responsible of derisking projects with the aim of securing Airbus ramp up. As well he/she will be responsible for several workpackages of R.F.E.

for Airbus commercial aircrafts, being responsible of the following activities:


Rear Fuselage and Empennage team activities:
The team, with members located in Getafe, Hamburg, Stade and Beijing, is responsible for managing end-to-end the industrial and operational performance of the Rear Fuselage and Empennage supply base all along the product lifecycle: from supplier selection (call for tender phase), through supplier approval to series operation and supplier development


Its main tasks are:

  • Coordinating the tactical activities and midterm actions with the relevant stakeholders in the R.F.E. Multi-Functional Team (MFT), integrated also by the commodity buyers and Programs, Materials and Processes Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering organizations, and securing its execution in alignment with the agreements taken
  • Ensuring the industrial qualification and surveillance of suppliers and products in line with Airbus requirements
  • Managing the contract execution, being responsible for the suppliers' on time, on quality deliveries whilst securing cost competitiveness.
  • Ensuring constant compliance of suppliers and products to Airbus requirements
  • Managing supplier performance, implementing recovery plans when needed to secure deliveries
  • Actively planning, supporting and monitoring suppliers development in line with Airbus sourcing strategy

Jobholder's activities:

The jobholder will be responsible for several workpackages of R.F.E.

for Airbus commercial aircrafts, covering several suppliers' manufacturing sites and taking in charge the following activities:


  • Supply chain operations management: _
  • Maintaining a close communication with the workpackage team in particular with Ordering and Manufacturing Engineeering but as well coordinating common actions with programs, engineering, buyer, etc to secure that suppliers deliveries of series will arrive on time and on quality and leading Airbus communication to the suppliers on his/her Workpackage
  • Managing contract execution, being responsible for supplier "on quality, on time" performance in line with Airbus ASR (Airbus Supplier Requirements)
  • Establishing an effective control of supplier activities through industrial audits and assessments, securing a close understanding of each supplier's overall situation and industrial risks and proposing mitigation actions
  • Identifying risks of supply and monitoring of dedicated action plans
  • Implementing recovery plans following supply chain bottlenecks or disruptions in order to secure delivery of the products in conformity with contracts
  • Managing Incustrial Changes at suppliers securing APQP deployment.
  • Secure Ramp up at the designated perimeter.
  • Contributing to the suppliers development plan setting longer term development targets and supporting its implementation in coordination with the Supplier Development Team when needed.

_Quality management:
_


  • Managing supplier quality approval & authorization in coordination with Airbus relevant stakeholders
  • Management of Non Conformity Notifications from suppliers
  • Surveilling the appropriateness of the suppliers' Quality Management System
  • Managing suppliers' quality recoveries and followingup of the quality actions plan of the suppliers (8D tool and others)
  • Engineering degree or other technical degree
  • At least 5 years of working experience, ideally in a related field such as Quality, Supply Chain Management, Project Management.
  • Industrial background, in particular Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering background is a clear plus
  • Availability to travel frequently to suppliers
  • Negotiation level in English; French is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
  • Ability to manage conflicts in a constructive manner
  • Good stakeholder management, enjoys working beyond functions and sigla
  • Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
  • Ability to perform and deal with uncertainty, constructing and managing diverse scenarios
